(International Student Senate 2010-2011)

CHAIR OF THE STUDENT BODY COUNCIL, KATHOLIEKE UNIVERSITEIT LEUVEN, BELGIUM

Dennis De Roover is a master in applied economics, currently pursuing a master's degree in International Business economics. He is still a member of the board of directors of the alumni association, Ekonomika Alumni.

In May 2010, Dennis was elected by his peers to be the chair of the student body council of Leuven (LOKO) and  to be a member of the executive committee and board of directors of the KULeuven. In that capacity he is the vice-president of the Board of Student Services (RvS), coordinator of the staff of the student body council (11 employees) and a member of the general assembly of the National Union of Students in Flanders (VVS). He is currently working to develop a new model for student representation after the integration of academic bachelor courses into Flanders' universities.
