THOMAS STONE

CHAIRMAN, ENTERPRISE SOCIETY, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON AND CO-CHAIR FOR THE NATIONAL CONSORTIUM OF UNIVERSITY ENTREPRENEURS (NACUE)

As well as having being involved with several start-ups at university, Thomas was previously President of UCL Enterprise Society.  UCL Enterprise Society is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship amongst the research community at University College London, which he continues to support in an advisory role as Chairman. Furthermore, he was recently appointed as Student Advisor and London Network, Co-Chair for the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (NACUE), an organisation that supports over 70 student-led enterprise societies with more than 40,000 members at universities across the UK.
Thomas is currently working towards his doctorate at the new UK PhD Centre in Financial Computing. Previously he studied at the University of Birmingham, Cornell University and University College London. His interests lie in the intersection between entrepreneurship and technology, researching the potential use of computational tools for supporting early-stage investment in new ventures.
