HANNES PALM
(International Student Senate 2010-2011)

PRESIDENT, STUDENT ASSOCIATION, STOCKHOLM SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

Hannes Palm is the President of the Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics (SASSE) with responsibility for business planning and strategy, advocating student opinions and representing the students externally, as well as having ultimate responsibility for all operations of the SASSE. His greatest accomplishments in his current position have been the incorporation of a smaller student union in to the SASSE and the launch of a new web portal and communications plan.
Prior to being elected President, Hannes has held positions such as Head of Company Relations and Equality Ombudsman. He also has good working experience from the retail industry and has competed in long jumping at elite level, ranking 1st in Sweden when eighteen years old. His greatest motivation is the concept of 1+1=3, achieving higher results by working towards a shared goal. Hannes is very outgoing and enjoys extreme sports, travelling and humor. He is fascinated by communications innovation and in the future he's likely to be found within that field.
