TREASURER OF THE ENGLISH SOCIETY, HENLEY BUSINESS SCHOOL, UK
Alex Slater is currently studying business administration and management in the hope of finding a job in marketing when he graduates in 2011. The reason that he decided to study management was because he had a great interest in business studies during sixth form (Bullerswood) and decided to pursue this as a career in later life. He hopes to get a job with a major accounting or audit firm once he has finished his studies at Reading. He also intends to go into marketing and sales as well as management. During the course of his time at University he has undertaken a number of extracurricular activities such as Treasurer of the English Society as well as Faculty Representative for the Henley Business School.
Alex is passionate about films and regularly goes to the cinema to see the latest releases. This has allowed him to form a wide opinion about the sort of things that interest him and those that don't. Another pastime is reading novels such as Catch22 and To Kill a Mockingbird (although Stephen King is his favourite).
